About Us
Our main retail shop is in Carlisle, Cumbria. The business first opened in 1957 as Jewellery workshops but soon expanded into the retail side. The shop has been situated on its present site since 1979.
Our first online shop opened in 1998 with great success and in 2000 we created the first Gretna Green Anvil Wedding Ring which we now deliver to many countries worldwide.
In 2004 we were delighted to win the UK National Association of Goldsmiths valuer of the year.
The business continues as an independent family concern run by Richard, John & Kathleen Harris, & is a member of Consortia, The Association of leading UK Jewellers.
Commissions over the years have included items for Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip & Pope John Paul to name but a few.
Our Jewellery workshops are the oldest in the city & provide a full range of repair and alteration services. we also have qualified Gemmologists in residence for choosing the best quality in gemstones.
